Fresh off of high school graduation, Darryl is ready to leave his small town to make something of himself. Yet his own family's poverty coupled with a brother with cerebral palsy and a reclusive alcoholic father have him planted firmly to his station in life. With summer ticking away, family tensions reach a boiling point as his father leverages Darryl to stay by threatening to institutionalize his brother. As his chance to follow his dreams slips away, Darryl must make major decisions that not only affect his destiny, but those he cares for most.

Ty Fanning as Darryl

Ty grew up in Mustang, Okla., and graduated from Oklahoma City University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting. He has worked professionally in film and theatre for the past four years in various parts of the country. Recently, he worked with the Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival and is currently working with The Road Theatre Company in Los Angeles. His recent film credits include: Secrets of a Psychopath, Home Run, and he will soon begin principal photography on Those Lighter Fluid Days.

Matt Altobelli as Hollis

Matt Altobelli was born in Oklahoma, raised in Texas, and then went back to Oklahoma, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting from the University of Oklahoma. Having worked professionally on stage and screen throughout college, he moved to Los Angeles, where he currently resides, splitting time between auditions and working at Ticketmaster. Recently, he's worked on stage in the theatrical debut of The Birthday Boys in three different productions around the country. His most recent film credits include Hollis, The Kill Corporation, The Whiteman Scenario, and The Art of Kissing.

Terry Masters as Frank

Terry received a Master of Fine Arts in drama followed by a Ph.D, as well as training at The American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco and The Alley Theatre in Houston. He was co-creator of two theatres in Utah and Oklahoma, respectively. He has written a novel, two screenplays, and he is currently completing his second stage play, which will be produced in 2014. He makes a living as an adolescent and adult psychotherapist. The biggest difference he has experienced between the mental health field and theatre is that life has no rehearsal.

Cassidee Vandalia as Mary

Cassidee grew up in Edmond, Okla., and attends the University of Central Oklahoma, majoring in Spanish. In elementary school, she fell in love with acting at a summer drama camp. While auditioning for the Oklahoma Arts Institute at Quartz Mountain, she was discovered by a local casting agent and encouraged to pursue work in film. Some of her early credits include The Rounder Comes to Town , The Killer Inside Me and the lead in a national commercial for AAA Insurance. She played a bride in To the Wonder alongside Javier Bardem, and was selected for speaking roles in Heaven's Rain and Yellow. Her first supporting lead was the role of Nicki in So This Is Christmas. Shortly after, Cassidee booked the female lead in Hollis. She continues to review audition materials and hopes to continue acting in the future.
